UNITED NATIONS: India has strongly hit out towards Pakistan for arbitrarily transferring the administration of the Sikh holy shrine Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara and violating an UN Common Meeting decision, saying Islamabad’s transfer goes towards Sikh faith and its preservation and safety.
In November, Pakistan transferred the administration and upkeep of the Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara from the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to the executive management of the Evacuee Belief Property Board, a non-Sikh physique.

India in November referred to as Pakistan’s determination as “extremely condemnable”, saying it runs towards the spiritual sentiments of the Sikh group.
