CWG gold medallist wrestler Babita Phogat and Asian Video games gold medallist kabbadi participant Kavita Devi have been appointed within the sports activities division of the Haryana authorities.

Commonwealth Video games gold medal profitable wrestler-turned politician Babita Phogat and 2014 Asian Video games gold medal profitable kabaddi participant Kavita Devi have each been made sports activities deputy administrators by the Haryana authorities.
Haryana Sports activities and Youth Affairs division principal secretary in two separate orders made the appointments below the Haryana Excellent Sportspersons (Recruitment and Situations of Service) Guidelines, 2018.
Babita in a tweet thanked Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and state Sports activities Minister Sandeep Singh amongst others for the appointment.

Babita had received silver on the 2010 Commonwealth Video games in New Delhi and went on to win gold on the 2014 Glasgow CWG. She received a silver at Gold Coast in 2018. She had additionally received a bronze within the 2012 wrestling World Championships.
