AOMORI: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.three struck off Aomori Prefecture in northeastern Japan on Monday, in line with the Japan Meteorological Company (JMA).
The quake occurred round 2:23 a.m. native time, with its epicenter at a latitude of 40.7 levels north and a longitude of 142.7 levels east, and on the depth of 10 km.
The earthquake logged 5 Decrease in some elements of Iwate Prefecture and four in Aomori Prefecture on the Japanese seismic depth scale which peaks at 7.
Up to now no tsunami warning has been issued.
